By on January 26, 2013

FULL TIME- Manchester United have beaten Fulham 4-1 at Old Trafford in the FA Cup fourth round. Manchester United started the day brilliantly, with Ryan Giggs scoring a penalty in the second minute. Even though United thoroughly dominated in the first half, they couldn’t get a second, party because of Mark Schwerzers brilliant goalkeeping. In the second half United were able to break the deadlock though, with Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez scoring in the fiftieth and fifty-second minutes. United were not through though, with Hernandez netting a second in the sixty-sixth. With the game put away, United relaxed a bit, but perhaps to much, for Fulham’s Aaron Hughes scored a constellation goal off a corner. The game makes for a warning sign for Fulham, who have been on a bad run whereas a positive sign for United, who played excellently.
