Manchester City vs Chelsea Preview

By on February 23, 2013

This English Premier League match between Manchester City and Chelsea is going to be exciting, with City trying to close a fifteen point gap behind league leaders Manchester United. When the two teams met in November they drew 0-0, with Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez getting booed by his own fans even though the draw was a good result for Chelsea. Chelsea come into the match on below average form, and they have only managed eight points out of their last seven English Premier League (EPL) matches. City also come into the match on below average form, having achieved only won six out of their last ten EPL matches and have only gotten one win in their last four matches in all competitions.

Chelsea will be looking to get their top scorer Frank Lampard on the scoreboard, but despite being on sensational form Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has still remained firm about selling him in the summer because of his policy to sell aging players. City on the other hand, will be looking for their top scorers Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero to score, who have both scored thirteen goals this season.
