MOTD halftime- Queens Park Rangers 0-1 Manchester United

By on February 23, 2013

This English Premier League match has so far been amazing, with Manchester United beating Queens Park Rangers through a fine Rafael volley. The match started quietly, with Manchester United keeping the ball, and the first chance came in the fifteenth minute when Javier Hernandez latched on to a cross and his header forced QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar to tip it over the bar. United started controlling the game, and got rewarded for that in the twenty-third minute when a QPR clearance fell to Rafael. Thirty yards out from the QPR goal, Rafael hit a stunning volley that dipped into the top left corner of the QPR net.

With United still completely dominating, they almost got a third goal when a long cross from Rafael found Robin van Persie and his one touch volley went just wide of the post. But United could not get another goal and the first half ended 1-0. The second half is sure to be exciting, so look out for my full time review, right here on Football Every Day!
