Pellegrini set to replace Mancini at Manchester City
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini’s future at the English club is in doubt, with reports suggesting that Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini will replace Mancini over the summer. Reports from Spain claim that Pellegrini has agreed to a contract with City, who will pay his €4 million release clause.
Mancini’s side will play Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final on Saturday, and the Italian still remains popular with City supporters, who will likely chant Mancini’s name against Wigan in a bid to reverse City’s decision to bring in Pellegrini. The Chilean has reportedly told Malaga that he will be leaving at the end of the season to join City, although there has been no confirmation of the deal from either City of Malaga.
