Ferguson Charged By English FA

By on January 29, 2013

The English Football Association has charged Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson with misconduct for comments made after United drew with Tottenham Hotspur. The United manager was very critical of linesman Simon Beck, after he failed to give a penalty for a challenge on Wayne Rooney. Ferguson claimed that the Beck had “history” with the club following Becks failure to disallow a Didier Drogba goal for grounds of offside in 2012. He has until Friday to respond.
