MOTD (match of the day) Preview- Newcastle United vs Chelsea

By on February 1, 2013

Newcastle United vs Chelsea is set to be a big game for both clubs, and will most likely be the first appearance for some of the five French players that Newcastle recently signed.  Chelsea have won two, Newcastle have won two, and the two teams have drawn two out of the last six games between the two teams.  Despite that the odds are with Chelsea to win the game, but Newcastle’s new signings could help their team produce a minor upset.  Newcastle have recently signed five French players in the January transfer window, with them coming from five different Ligue 1 teams, which could prove pivotal for their season.  Chelsea haven’t gone without signings though, with them buying the Newcastle star Demba Ba, who could score against his former club.  But no matter if Ba scores or not, the game is set to be a good one, so look out for my halftime and full time review of the game, right here on Football Every Day!
