MOTD preview- Liverpool vs Swansea City

By on February 16, 2013

This English Premier League match at Anfield is set to be a good one, with Liverpool looking to beat a team in the top ten for the first time this season.  The last time the two teams met was back in November at the Liberty Stadium, where they drew 0-0.  Surprisingly though, when the met in the League Cup in October at Anfield, Swansea came away with a 3-1 win, and last May they beat Liverpool 1-0.  Liverpool come into the game with on below average form, with their last three matches being a 2-0 loss away at Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Europa League, a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad, and a 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates.  Swansea however, come into the game on relatively good form, having only lost twice in their last eleven games.  Both sides will be looking to get their top scorers, Michu and Luis Suarez, on the score-sheet. But Liverpool might gain an edge with their new signing Daniel Sturridge who has already scored four goals for the club, and so far has linked up well with Suarez.  But whether Sturridge has a good came or not, the match is sure to be an exciting one, so look out for my halftime and full time review of it, right here on Football Every Day!
