Sergio Aguero celebrates his goal against Reading in Manchester City’s 2-0 win

Today there were three top-flight matches, the English Premier League matches between Arsenal and Wigan Athletic, and Reading and Manchester City, and the Copa Libertadores match between Palmeiras and Tijuana.  The final scores were Arsenal 4-1 Wigan Athletic, with Wigan being relegated from the Premier League only two days after capturing their first FA Cup, Reading 0-2 Manchester City, with City beginning life without Roberto Mancini, and Palmeiras 1-2 Tijuana, with Mexican side Tijuana booking a place in the quarterfinals.
