Hoffenheim players celebrate their 3-1 win over Kaiserslautern in the German Bundesliga promotion-relegation playoffs

Today there have been three matches, the German Bundesliga Promotion-Relegation Playoff match between TSG Hoffenheim and Kaiserslautern, and the Copa Libertadores matches between Boca Juniors and Newell’s Old Boys and Tijuana and Atletico MG.  The final scores were TSG Hoffenheim 3-1 Kaiserslautern, with Hoffenheim taking a huge step towards safety with a win over Kaiserslautern in the first leg of their promotion-relegation playoff tie, Boca Juniors 0-0 Newell’s Old Boys, with Mexican side Boca Juniors holding Newell’s Old Boys to a scoreless draw for the second consecutive time, and Tijuana 2-2 Atletico MG, with Luan’s injury time equalizer earning Tijuana a draw in the first leg of their quarterfinal tie against Ronaldinho and co.
