How the Internet reacted to Shaqiri’s bicycle-kick versus Poland

Xherdan Shaqiri’s incredible bicycle-kick strike in the Euro 2016 Round of 16 against Poland has already made waves around the Internet.  The goal brought Switzerland roaring back from behind ten minutes from time against Poland in a most incredible fashion and a clip of the goal was at the top of popular social media site Reddit after only eight minutes.

Switzerland had struggled to establish a foothold in the game with Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski in inspired form, but Shaqiri flung himself in the air to score in off the post with an overhead kick.  Euro 2016 has had plenty of gorgeous, dramatic finishes but Shaqiri’s goal had it all.  Here is the internet’s reaction to Shaqiri’s stunner:
